We highly recommend the following local culinary superstars:
Under the Apple Tree
Jase is a true blue salt of the earth dude who bloody LOVES great food and working with the seasons and local produce to cook food that is quite frankly, a bit fancy pants (in a REALLY good way). He’s all about the seasonal and locally grown rustic country fare: slow cooked organic meats over hot coals of a campfire, blending local grains and veggies to produce unique, delicious, fine food experiences.
Ice Cream Social
The good folk at ICS can fully cater your special day, they’re not *just* Ice Cream! Think long table or buffet, share platters of delicious salads, grilled lamb, the best felafal balls this side of A1, and all in biodegradable noodle boxes for easy tidy up.
Inspired by travel through Europe and the Middle East, visiting various street vendors and hawkers markets, Trailer Made has taken the food truck scene in Melbourne to another level. Launching in 2013, they were one of the handful of trucks to hit the streets in Melbourne. Trailer Made is still satisfying Melbourne’s insatiable demand for fresh, refined, street food with fast and responsive service. Amy and Finn are the most delightful hosts and will look after you from the very start to the very end. They’re also very happy to cater for many different dietary requirements!
Guildford General Store
The friendly ladies behind the Guildford General Store (all related too: mums, daughters, aunties...so cool!) can put together some DEE-licious food platters for you to order and pick up. If you’re after finger foods, such as mini sausage rolls, mini pies, mini beef burgers (eek! So cute!) that are home-made with heart, friggen delicious and ooooze rustic country charm, then this is for you.
